Background;

Description
Because of our previous track record with the facility management department of FCMB Advanced Concrete Technologies Was invited to waterproof this new branch.
Diagnoses
The total roof area was 246 M2. This was a new structure, there was no need for much renovation and surface preparation before application of our spray on polyurethane system .
Solution
The Maricoat Polyurethane spray on system was adopted. The first phase was the priming of the surface; this was followed with the installation of first coat of Maricoat, after which our patented Geotextile membrane system was installed. A final layer on Maricoat was then applied on the surface . The project has since remained waterproofed.
Why Consider Polyurethane for your projects?
The advantage of polyurethane over existing Felt membrane is that its coefficient of bonding to concrete twice higher than Bitumen, therefore damages can be localized. The fact that it is also jointless , means that there are less chances of leakage at the joints. Finally It is more UV stable, therefore can last two to three times the life of a typical bitumen membrane.
