This state of the art luxury apartment in Nigeria home of luxury apartments ,Banana Island, was constructed and Supervised by Design Union PLC , . The structure has large Roof, over 500 Square metre in All. Based on our previous relationship,
Advanced Concrete Technologies Ltd was invited in to Waterproof the terrace and Roof with our state of the art Polyurethane waterproof membrane. The project has since been completed and successfully handed over to the client.
Why Consider Polyurethane for your projects?
The advantage of polyurethane over existing Felt membrane is that its coefficient of bonding to concrete twice higher than Bitumen, therefore damages can be localized. The fact that it is also jointless , means that there are less chances of leakage at the joints. Finally It is more UV stable, therefore can last two to three times the life of a typical bitumen membrane.
Solution;
The surface was properly prepared Maricoat 100 polyurethane system was then installed, after first priming with Hydro Primer, then a Hydrosil Geotextile membrane was installed, after which the Membrane was finally covered with Maricoat 100
